Gail B. Landau

Gail B. Landau has represented clients involved in divorce, custody and child support disputes for 20 years. She has been featured on CNN's Burden of Proof, and for two years was heard monthly in the Washington, D.C. area on MetroTalk (100.3FM) on gender and family issues. She is listed in Who's Who in American Lawyers for her litigation expertise.

Before moving to Maryland and entering private practice, she was an attorney with the City of New York's Department of Social Services, where she was responsible for the administration of social welfare programs, including child support collection, and prosecution of child abuse and neglect. From 1983-85 she was the Deputy Counsel for Brooklyn overseeing over five thousand custody and support cases. She now serves the Bar Association as a Mentor for younger attorneys in family law. Ms. Landau has lectured to numerous community and legal organizations on divorce, support, custody, tax, and marital property issues.

Ms. Landau received her Juris Doctor in 1979 from Boston University and her Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University in 1976. She was admitted to the bar in the following states:
